Verse of the Day:
"So Moses and Aaron said to all the Israelites, 'In the evening you will know that it was the Lord who brought you out of Egypt, and in the morning you will see the glory of the Lord, because he has heard your grumbling against him. Who are we, that you should grumble against us?" Exodus 16:6-7
At the evening service, we looked at the account in Exodus when God provided manna and quail and were reminded that God provides for us and were encouraged to consider our approach to the food we buy and how we can bring about God's justice through this

VERSE OF THE DAY: Mark c11, v15.
As the majority of us return to the busyness and hurry of work, school runs, clubs etc this week I found a very useful devotional in Lectio365 this morning which explains the difference between busyness and hurry.
Jesus provides an excellent case study of this in Mark 11. Verse 15 tells us that Jesus’s plan all along was to overturn some tables and drive out the vendors who were turning the temple into a “den of robbers” (Mark 11:17).
How can we be busy without being hurried? We must get good at “counting the cost” of our time.
