You are the giver of every good gift and I am your finite creation and beloved child.
I receive the gift of days without work as a good gift from you.
Free me from false guilt and help me to make the most of this time.
May my “holiday” be a sequence of holy days, encountering and enjoying you.

We continue our Summer theme this Sunday. Join us online or in person at Brightons (10:30am) or Slamannan (11am). Summer Kids Club from 10:15am at Brightons; prayer time 10:15am at Brightons and 10:40am at Slamannan. Also, at Brightons, we will commission our new organ.

1 Peter 1:1-5 speaks about the living hope believers have in Jesus Christ. It highlights that Christians are chosen by God, sanctified by the Spirit, and kept by God's power through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed. It emphasizes a future inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, reserved in heaven.
On Sunday we began a new sermon series on the Names and Attributes of God. Starting with 'holiness' reminded us that holiness is all about our relationship with God and less about our morals and good deeds.
