Following guidelines issued by the Church of Scotland’s Safeguarding Service, we have adopted the following Whistle Blowing Policy. The purpose of this policy is to provide a procedure which enables concerns to be raised if there are reasonable grounds for believing there is serious malpractice occurring or likely to occur. We have done this because as a congregation we are committed to the principles of openness, probity and accountability. In line with that commitment we expect anyone who has a serious concern about any aspect of our congregational life to voice those concerns in good faith and in line with the following policy without fear of victimisation, subsequent discrimination or disadvantage.
